The deal.
You paste a storefront URL, we read what that shop publishes and hand it back as a spreadsheet. The first 30 products are free. The rest of the catalogue is a one-off payment. No subscription, no account.
1. What the service is
Shoplifter.app requests pages a storefront already serves to the public and reformats the product data into CSV and XLSX. It reads what is published. It does not log in, bypass access controls, break paywalls, or touch anything a visitor with a browser could not reach.
Shoplifter is built for Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Magento 2, Drupal, BigCommerce, SAP Commerce Cloud and Wix Stores. Where a particular store cannot be completed, you are not charged: we take your email and a person comes back to you within 48 hours.
2. Price and payment
- The store's top 30 products (best sellers where the store ranks them, otherwise the first page): free.
- The full catalogue for one store: $14.99, charged once. Not a subscription. Nothing recurs.
- Payment is taken by Stripe. We never see your card details.
- Prices include any tax we are obliged to charge.
3. Cancellation and refunds
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU you normally have 14 days to change your mind about a digital purchase. That right ends once delivery of the digital content begins, if you asked for it to begin immediately and acknowledged that you would lose the right.
Because your export starts generating the moment payment clears, by completing checkout you request immediate delivery and accept that you lose the 14-day right to cancel once it starts.
That said: if the export is broken, materially incomplete against what the storefront actually publishes, or never arrives, email us and we will fix it or refund you. We would rather refund a disappointed customer than argue.
4. What you may do with the data
We give you a file. What is lawful to do with the contents is your responsibility, not ours, and it depends on where you are and what the data is.
You agree that you will not use this service to:
- Copy a competitor's product descriptions, photographs or other copyright works and publish them as your own.
- Scrape a site you have been specifically barred from, or one whose terms you are separately bound by.
- Harvest personal data about individuals.
- Break any law that applies to you.
Product facts — prices, SKUs, stock, option names — are generally not protectable in themselves. Descriptions and images generally are. Use judgement, and take your own advice if the stakes are high. If your use of an export causes a third party to come after us, you agree to cover what that costs us.
5. Access and availability
- Your export is reachable from the browser you bought it in for 30 days, after which it is deleted. Download the file.
- Access tokens and signed download links expire after 72 hours and are re-issued when you return.
- Access is tied to your browser's local storage. Clear it, switch device, and you will need the link from your receipt.
- We do not promise any uptime figure. Storefronts rate-limit, change shape and go down, and sometimes a scan simply cannot complete.
6. Accuracy
We report what the storefront gave us at the moment we asked. We do not promise the catalogue is complete, current, or that the shop was telling the truth. Some platforms cap how deep their public listings go, and we cannot see past that cap. Where we know a count is partial, we say so on screen.
7. Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your non-excludable rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Beyond that, our total liability for any claim connected to this service is capped at what you paid us for the export it concerns. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, or the consequences of decisions you took on the strength of an export.
8. Ending it
There is no account to close. We may refuse or stop a scan that looks abusive, that targets a site we have been asked to leave alone, or that is being used to hammer a storefront. If we cancel a paid scan for a reason that is not your fault, you get your money back.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to a purchase is the one published when you made it, and the date at the top tells you which that was.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of your local mandatory consumer law, or of the right to bring a claim locally.
